We are looking for the following Board of Director positions:
Grant Director- The Director of Grants will design and implement a strategy for pursuing city, state and national grants. All grants will have to comply with the organizations mission and vision and not compromise these in order to gain funds per our conflict of interest policy. The Grant Director will be responsible for presenting worthy grants to the Board for approval. All approved grants will then be written and submitted by this director or assigned to a committee volunteer overseen by the grant director. Grant director will be responsible to make a calendar of all grant application deadlines and continuously seek future opportunities.
Program Director- The Program Director designs and implements programs that help the organization fulfill its mission and vision. Director works closely with the Outreach Director and Business Director in achieving these goals.
Volunteer Director- This Director will design and implement an aggressive volunteer program in which volunteers from the church and the community will sit on committees and provide support for all aspects of the organization. Director will be in charge of orientation for volunteers and making sure each individual understands the scope of the job to be performed. Volunteer Director will have an understanding of the Volunteer protection act and will screen all volunteers to protect both sides from any liability.
Nomination Director- This Director will be in charge of pursuing new avenues for recruiting and maintain quality Board members. Director will also be in charge communicating with the advisory committee and seeking out new professionals to serve in this role.
We are looking for persons to help with the following assistant positions:
Grant Writer- write grants assigned by board and follow up with any grant questions. (40-60 hours per grant)
Development Assistant- Responsible for coordinating a plan for achieving corporate sponsors and individual sponsors, including any event which might assist in raising funds. In specific contacting business to that might be willing to provide monthly catering services, software business to provide computer equipment, etc. (20-40 hours)
