Ms. Ribera was born in Texas and began her dance training there with the Lone Star Ballet. She spent summers dancing with American Ballet Theater, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Ballet Austin, and the School of American Ballet in New York. At 17, she was selected for the Professional Division at the Pacific Northwest Ballet School and performed with PNB for 3 years. A stage accident brought a quick end to her career, but she knows that "everything works out for the good of those who love Him and have been called according to His purpose." Jessica is excited, after a 7 year break, to be returning to dance in a new context with 6th Day and is eager for her 2 little sons to see her do it.

Ms. Schaefer began her training in Minnesota with the Stroia Ballet Company. She attended the Perpich Center for Arts Education dance department working with Bill T. Jones and Toni Pierce. She was accepted to Cornish College of the Arts Dance Department and graduated in 2004 Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in dance performance. She has trained extensively in ballet, modern, improvisation, contact and jazz. Currently she is obtaining her STOTT Pilates Certifications. She has been with 6th Day since 2004 as a choreographer, master class instructor, Assistant Artistic Director, and currently she is the Co-Artistic Director.  She would like to thank her husband and son for their support.  Matthew 10:27 "whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops."

Ms. Ly started her training through summer programs at the Boston Conservatory.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island with a B.A. in Dance/Performance. She also has an A.A.S. degree in Massage Therapy and has her Pilates Certifications through the PhysicalMind Institute. Previously she has performed with Seattle based choreographers and a Phoenix Salsa company. She and her husband moved here three years ago to live out the Gospel amongst the unreached with a desire to see God's glory thrive in Seattle. In her fourth season with 6th Day Dance, she has now served as performer, choreographer, master class instructor and Marketing Manager. She is excited to see what Jesus will reveal to others through this company.
